Horton Plains

Horton Plains National Park lies in the central highlands at an altitude of over 2000 meters. The misty grasslands and cloud forests are home to diverse wildlife and flora. The most popular hike leads to World's End, a precipitous drop offering breathtaking views of the valleys below, and the scenic Baker's Falls.

• Arrive early morning (before 9 AM) to avoid the mist covering World's End.
• Bring plenty of water and wear layers.
• Plastic bags are strictly prohibited inside the park.
